The art in this comic was inspired by Tatsuo Yoshida’s Speed Racer. Then again most every racing movie is these days, from Fast and the Furious to Redline. Redline is awesome by the way.
This in no way is a slam against this cliche in racing movies, in fact I eat it up and look forward to it every time.
