I hope that the day I have an idea this good that I also have the skill to execute it this well. Amazing!

Seriously MSNBC you are reaffirming my decision to turn off my television. You have enough of a hard time articulating how terrorism and global warming affects me in any way but when you fail at a simple bar graph, what does that say about your credibility on every other issue?
The idea for Half Man Half Monkey All Hero spawned in a History Of Amine class discussion with Chris Calilung during the summer of 2008. Create a weekly comic that will keep up the pressure to create, with a weekly deadline, as a means to continue improving on my drawing skills long after school finishes. This was my one and only goal when I started, to get better at drawing by drawing more. I have to admit that the success I have had on the internet and at the Austin Comic Con booth were completely unexpected but very welcome and exciting.
After graduating in 2009 and the job market subsequently crashing I went about my day job and mucking along. An opportunity afforded me to get the hell out of Arizona and I jumped on it. Landing here in Austin proved to be one of the cooler things to happen to me as it is absolutely phenomenal here. It took me awhile to get settled in, this city can be very distracting, and a year ago I reaffirmed my commitment to HMHMAH. I have faithfully posted new content every week for that last year and would like to thank my loyal reader base for sticking around through the fickleness of art styles and the political rants and tirades I tend to get into.
This year will be pretty exciting. I will have a booth again at the Austin Comic Con. I am working on my first graphic novel telling the origin of Francis and Dr. Al. I have more T-Shirts in the works and possibly some buttons and stickers as well. My main goal for this year will be to narrow down my style and continue to improve.
